INDIANA UNIVERSITY – BLOOMINGTON, IN

The Department of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a full-time visiting assistant professorship in the field of Roman art and archaeology for the academic year 2013/14. The successful candidate will teach a 2-2 load at the undergraduate level: two large lecture courses -- one in classical art and archaeology, the other in classical mythology -- and two discussion courses in Roman art, archaeology, literature, or culture. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Classics by July 1. Review of applications will begin April 8 and will continue until the position is filled.
