The Department of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a full-time visiting position for the academic year 2003-04. The visitor will teach two undergraduate courses each semester, including courses on ancient Greek culture, a course on classical drama, and a course in Homeric Greek. The candidate should hold a Ph.D. with strength in Greek literature, culture, and language, and have proven experience in the teaching of such courses. There are no other departmental responsibilities.

Indiana University, Bloomington, is a research university with excellent computing facilities and a first-rate library. The campus, located in scenic southern Indiana, enrolls around 35,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
