INDIANA UNIVERSITY BLOOMINGTON, IN
The Department of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in classical studies with strength in Greek language, literature, and culture, to begin in fall of 2004. Applicants with a specialty in Greek poetry, particularly Greek tragedy, are especially welcome. Teaching duties will include courses in Greek, Latin, and various aspects of Greek and Roman culture. Ph.D. is required at time of appointment.

Indiana University, Bloomington, is a research university with excellent computing facilities and a first-rate library. The campus, located in scenic southern Indiana, enrolls around 35,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
