IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY – AMES, IA (One or Two Full-Time Positions)
Department of World Languages and Cultures – Lecturer in Classical Studies. Proposed Start Date: August 16, 2007. Term position, 9 months, one or two full-time positions available, appointment ending May 15, 2008.

Job Description: Teach range of undergraduate courses in Classical Studies (courses in English, and Greek and/or Latin). Typical full-time teaching load is six courses per year.

Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in appropriate language or related discipline. Successful experience teaching undergraduate students.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in appropriate field; ability to teach all levels of Latin and/or Greek.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications.
