POSITION TWO: The Johns Hopkins University Department of Classics invites applications for an approved Visiting Lecturer position for Fall semester 2003. Assistant Professor. Approved entry-level, tenure-track position. We are seeking a broadly trained classicist eager to contribute to the intellectual life of a small Classics department within a research university. Areas of special interest should complement those of the department; expertise in Roman literature and culture and/or the Hellenistic/Republican periods, as well as an interest in comparative approaches, are especially welcome.
