Ancient history. The History Department at Kansas State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of the ancient Mediterranean. Ph.D. preferred; advanced ABD considered. Active research program expected. Teaching responsibilities (2-2 load) include introductory courses in Western civilization or world history, advanced courses in Greece / Rome and field of specialization, and participation in graduate program.
