The Classics Department at Kenyon College invites applications for a one-year position in Classics at the visiting assistant professor or instructor level beginning July 1, 2008. A Ph.D. in Classics or a relevant discipline is preferred; ABD will be considered.Teaching responsibilities consist of five courses: two semesters of elementary Greek, intermediate Latin, a survey of Latin Literature in translation, and another course in translation on a special topic that reflects the candidate's particular interests.
