The Department of Classical Studies at William & Mary invites applications for a one year, non-tenure-track lecturer position that will begin August 10, 2018. This is a fixed-term position of one year, with possibility of renewal for at least one additional year. We seek an individual with the ability to teach introductory and advanced courses in Greco-Roman material culture as well as Latin at the intermediate level. The precise area of specialty is open, but preference will be given to candidates whose training and teaching experience complement the existing strengths of the department and best fit the curricular needs of the coming years.

Required: A Master’s degree is required.

Preferred: A Ph.D. is preferred at the time appointment begins August 10, 2018.
