The Classics Department of Fordham University invites applications for a Lecturer Position for the academic year 2018-2019. Candidates with a strong interest in teaching classical languages, classical civilization including myth, and reception studies are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be able to teach the Latin language at all levels.

Applicants with a PhD in hand and prior teaching are strongly preferred. A letter of application, CV, evidence of teaching experience (such as current syllabuses and a statement of teaching philosophy), and 2 letters of recommendation should be sent via email to the Chair of Classics, Matthew McGowan, at classics@fordham.edu. Please include the candidate's full name in the subject of the email. Review of applications will begin on May 11, 2018 and continue until the position is filled. Interviews will be conducted online.
