Louisiana State University invites applications for a position in the history of ancient Greek and Roman art starting August 2011. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in any area of Greek or Roman art or Classics; one year of successful teaching experience; evidence of professional achievement; ability to teach a course in the art of the Ancient Near East and Egypt. Responsibilities: teaches introductory and senior-level courses in Greek and/or Roman art, freshman-level survey, and possible graduate (M.A.-level) seminar.
