LOYOLA UNIVERSITY -- NEW ORLEANS, LA
The Department of Classical Studies at Loyola University New Orleans is seeking a general classicist for a full-time Instructor position for the 2005-2006 academic year.

This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal for two additional years. The teaching load will be 4/4. The candidate should have his/her PhD completed. Courses scheduled for Fall 2005 are: Beginning Latin (2 sections), Beginning Greek, and a course on Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic World. Courses for the Spring 2006 will include Beginning Latin (2 sections), Beginning Greek, and a course TBA. Salary will be $28,000 plus benefits (including health insurance, conference travel, and moving expenses).
