LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO - CHICAGO, IL

Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Classical Studies invites applications for a three-year, full-time, non-tenure-track appointment with the possibility of renewal. The position becomes effective 1 August 2010 subject to final approval of funding. The department shares a strong commitment to scholarly research and undergraduate teaching. Competitive candidates will be Latinists with solid general expertise, who can teach courses in Classical Civilization, Latin and Greek at all levels, and who present records of excellence in teaching. Applications from specialists in the literature of the Roman Republic are especially encouraged.
