Possible Instructor or Visiting Professor

The Classics Department of Loyola University Maryland announces a possible non-tenure-track position at the rank of Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor (depending on degree) for AY ’10-11. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or be A.B.D. in Classics, Classical Archaeology, or Ancient History (with Ph.D. preferred). Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate Latin and Greek is strongly desired and the promise of such excellence is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three introductory and/or intermediate Latin and/or Greek classes in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
