Luther College seeks to fill a tenure-track assistant professorship in Classics beginning in late August 1999. Ph. D. in Classics required. The candidate will teach elementary Latin, intermediate/advanced Latin reading courses, elementary Classical Greek, and a January Term course. Demonstrated interest in and preparation for teaching one or more of the following will strengthen the application: Classical literature in translation, Classical mythology, Ancient History.
