McMASTER UNIVERSITY – HAMILTON, ON, CANADA (Two Positions)
POSITION ONE:The Department of Classics at McMaster University invites applications for a contractually limited appointment to run for one year (July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013).
The successful candidate will teach 8 courses (three in term 1, three in term 2, and two in the summer of 2013), including Greek and Latin language and Roman Art and Archaeology. A PhD in Classics with specialization in Archaeology is required, and a record of excellent teaching is preferred.
The current minimum salary at the rank of Assistant Professor is $66,243.00 plus benefits.
