Washington & Lee University invites applications for a one-semester Mellon Post-doctoral Fellowship in Ancient History. The fellow will teach two courses during W&L's twelve-week fall term (September-December 2019). Research specialty in ancient history is open. Scholars whose research and teaching include digital approaches or diverse perspectives on the ancient world are especially encouraged to apply.

Candidates must have received their PhD by July 31, 2019. Scholars who have received their PhD within the past four years are eligible to apply. The fellowship will begin July 1, 2019.
