Ancient History. The History Department at Miami University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Ancient History, specialization open, to begin in the fall of 2007. Duties include teaching advanced classes (both undergraduate and graduate) in area of specialty and participating in the rotation to teach the first half of either Western Civilization or World History; participating actively in the graduate program; maintaining an active research agenda; and performing service to the university.
