MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY – EAST LANSING, MI
The Department of Art & Art History and the Classical Studies Program at Michigan State University invites applications for a one-year full-time position in Classical Art and Archeology (Ancient Mediterranean Basin) to begin August 16, 2006. Candidates having completed the PHD in Classical Art and Archeology by the start of the appointment are preferred, although ABDs will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in Greek and Roman Art and Archeology in the Department of Art and Art History and courses in Classical Studies to be offered through the Classical Studies Program, which is housed in the Department of French, Classics, and Italian.

Applications should include a letter of application, curriculum vitae, sample of scholarly writing or publications, and three letters of reference.
