The Department of Classics at New York University invites applications for a postdoctoral language lectureship, to commence September 1, 2010, subject to budgetary and administrative approval. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, one-year appointment, and will involve teaching both Latin and Greek languages; the total load is five courses over the academic year. The successful applicant will have demonstrated effectiveness as a college-level teacher, and will have completed all the requirements for the Ph.D. by September 1, 2010.
