The Department of Classics at Georgetown University invites applications for a one-year position (2018/19) as a visiting assistant professor in Roman history and culture. Teaching load is three courses per semester; the candidate is expected to teach undergraduate classes in Roman history and culture in translation at all levels and also Latin. PhD must be in hand by the time of taking up the appointment.

By 15 January 2018, applicants should submit a cv, cover letter, and three letters of recommendation.
