Qualifications: Commitment to teaching; Ph.D. (preferred) or M.A. (required); foreign language instruction experience; and proof of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. An M.A. is required for the Lecturer position; Ph.D. by hire date is required for the Teaching Assistant Professor position.
Description of Position: Full time (4/4 teaching load); teach Latin (and occasionally Greek) at the elementary through third-year levels, Classical Mythology, and other Classics in translation courses; renewable non-tenure track appointment dependent on enrollments and funding; $40,000 - $43,000 depending on education and experience.
