The Department of Greek and Latin seeks applications from Classicists for a one-year position as Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate must have all requirements for the PhD completed by September 1, 2007. Teaching duties will include a variety of undergraduate courses in Greek and Latin Language and Literature and in Classical Humanities, (/e.g./ Classical Mythology, Greek Literature in Translation, Greek and Roman Civilization, Ancient Epic). Classes range from small language classes to large lectures (180+). Other duties include advising and counseling students and supervising Graduate Teaching Associates.
