The Department of Classics at Ohio University announces a definite position (three-year term maximum) for a Classics generalist at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting Sept. 7, 1999. Candidates should have Ph.D. in hand. The position entails teaching nine courses on the quarter system, including Latin at all undergraduate levels, Classical Mythology, and Etymology.
