The Department of Classics and World Religions at Ohio University announces a tenure-track position for a Latinist at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning Sept. 1, 2004. The research specialization is open. The teaching focus will be in Latin language and literature at all undergraduate levels. We seek an effective and committed teacher of Latin, someone with a strong interest in Latin pedagogy and curriculum development. In addition to courses in Latin teaching responsibilities may include courses in Greek and Classics in translation. Candidates should have Ph.D. in hand by September 1, 2004. Salary competitive.
