Patrick Henry College, a non-denominational Christian college emphasizing a classical liberal arts curriculum and an apprenticeship model, seeks applications for two positions, a classics professor (rank open) and a rhetoric/logic professor (rank open) to join the Classical Liberal Arts faculty in Fall 2002. The successful classics candidate will teach Latin and Greek as well as advanced courses in area of specialization. The successful rhetoric/logic candidate will teach rhetoric and logic, as well as advanced courses in area of specialization. Load is 8 courses during the academic year. Additional responsibilities include advising and committee assignments. Those with M.A.'s will be considered although a Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in the classical liberal arts and must subscribe to PHC's mission and statement of faith.
