Houston Baptist University seeks an adjunct professor for the Department of Classics and Biblical Languages, to teach two classes per semester in HBU’s Classics major (including lower- and upper-level Latin, and Classical Mythology). All courses will be offered exclusively in remote synchronous format (residence not required). The desired candidate should be enthusiastic about, and ideally experienced in, remote delivery and should be able to articulate a vision that includes potential teaching strategies and innovations that promise to make this mode of delivery successful. Candidates should be available to begin work in August, 2021 and should hold a Ph.D. in Classics (or related discipline) by the time of appointment.
