Carleton College invites applications for a one-year position in the Department of Classics beginning September 1, 2017. We are seeking an entry-level teacher/scholar in the area of Mediterranean archaeology. Ph.D. is required by time of appointment. Responsibilities include teaching Latin and Greek at the beginning and intermediate levels, courses in Mediterranean archaeology, and co-teaching the Archaeology Concentration capstone course (ARCN 395 - Archaeology: Science, Nationalism, Ethics, and Cultural Property). This will be a full year appointment, eligible for benefits.
