The Department of Classical and Early Mediterranean Studies at Brandeis University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor specializing in ancient Greek history from a broad, comparative Mediterranean perspective, to begin in Fall 2024. This position is subject to budgetary approval. The successful candidate will teach survey courses and special topics in Greek history and the early Mediterranean world. An ability to teach Greek language and literature is desired, but not required.
