The Department of Classics at Princeton University invites applications for a full-time, one-year lectureship in Latin language and literature, to teach courses up to the fourth semester level. The successful candidate must have all requirements for the PhD completed by September 1, 2006. The Department of Classics at Princeton University has been authorized to conduct a search for a tenured position in Greek History at the level of Full or Associate Professor. Applicants must have a strong record of research, publication, and teaching. They should be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the full range of Greek history, in Greek and Latin languages, and in classical culture in translation.
