Greek Language and Literature. The Department of Classics at Princeton University invites applications for a one-year lectureship in Greek language and literature. Courses will include introductory- and upper-level classes in Greek, and a class in translation conforming to the candidate's interests. The successful candidate must have all requirements for the PhD completed by September 1, 2007. Joint Greek and Latin Job Description POSITIONS 1 & 2: The Department of Classics in Princeton University announces two tenure-track positions as Assistant Professors, one in Greek literature and one in Latin literature, to begin in Fall 2007. Periods and fields of specialization are open. We are looking for candidates capable of contributing to our entire program, both in the languages, from beginning courses through graduate seminars, and classes in translation, both traditional topics and innovative new courses. It is expected that the candidate will have the PhD in hand by September 1, 2007.
