Beginning tenure-track Assistant Professor of Classics to begin August, 2008.
Duties: To teach a broad range of language, literature and culture courses in Classics (undergraduate and graduate). To maintain an active research program.
Qualifications: Ph.D. expected by August, 2008. Demonstrated evidence of excellence in research and in teaching language, literature and culture. Generalist preferred to teach a range of Greek and Latin courses. Interests in cultural studies, interdisciplinary studies, gender studies or comparative literature are welcome. Publications commensurate with experience.
Salary, benefits, and teaching load are competitive.
