Randolph-Macon College announces a one-year non-renewable position for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics and Art History beginning August 1999. This is a joint appointment in the Department of Classics and the Department of the Arts. The teaching assignment will be three courses in ancient art and archaeology and four other courses in Classics, Greek or Latin. Applicants should have a documented record of outstanding teaching in both art history courses and language classes, and have solid credentials in Greek or Roman archaeology. Candidates with the PhD in hand will be preferred. Randolph-Macon College is co-educationl liberal arts institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
