The Department of Classics at Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, a competitive liberal arts college for women, invites applications for a 1-year sabbatical leave position at assistant professor rank beginning in the Fall of 2006. The position is for a general classicist with a specialty in art/archaeology or history. Seven courses include Latin language, topics in history and/or archaeology, and participation in the senior capstone experience. Ph.D. in hand and college teaching experience is preferred.
