RICE UNIVERSITY – HOUSTON, TX

Applications are invited for a two year postdoctoral position in ancient art in the Department of Art History at Rice University. The position calls for teaching one art history course per semester. This fellowship is envisioned as part of the dynamic collaboration between Rice and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. For that reason, we also envision that the postdoctoral fellow will make use of the MFAH in their teaching and, if possible, in their research. The fellowship will begin July 1, 2010 and the Ph.D. must be in hand by that date. The salary will be $45,000 per year, plus benefits. Deadline for applications is April 15, 2010.
