Roger Williams University, College of Arts & Science, is seeking aqualified Latinist to fill a full time, tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Foreign Languages. This position will be available beginningSeptember 1, 1999. Responsibilities: Teach elementary through advanced courses in Latin and one other language; assist in the development and expansion of the foreign language program; and conduct and publish researchin field of expertise. Qualifications: 1) PhD in Classics; 2) Fluency in at least one modern language (French, German, Italian, Latin, Portugese or Spanish) 3) Record of scholarship; 4) Proficiency in computer software packages.
