The Program in Classical Studies and Department of Philosophy and Religion at Rollins College are seeking a Visiting Lecturer as a one-year sabbatical replacement to teach courses in both disciplines. We encourage candidates with a PhD (or ABD) in either philosophy or classical studies to apply. Responsibilities include courses in Introductory Latin, Ancient Philosophy, Mythology, and Ethics. Successful candidates should demonstrate a record of effective and engaged pedagogy.
Interviews will be held at the AIA/APA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. Skype interviews will be available for those unable to interview in person. Review of applications will begin December 2, 2011 and continue until the position is filled.
