The Department of Classics invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for a versatile classicist with a special expertise in Roman studies, the appointment to begin July l, 2000. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach Latin literature and Roman history at the graduate and undergraduate level and Greek language, literature, and history at the undergraduate level.
