The Department of Classics has been authorized to search for an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) with expertise in Greek literature and a special interest in ancient philosophy, the appointment to begin July 1, 2002. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach Greek and Latin literature at the undergraduate level and Greek literature, including philosophical works, at the graduate level. Candidates must have the Ph.D. or equivalent in hand by July 1, 2002; more advanced Assistant Professor candidates are also invited to apply.
