SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY – SANTA CLARA, CA

The Department of Classics invites applications for a one-year, adjunct lecturer position in Classics with a specialization in history. The teaching load is seven quarter courses (e.g. 2-3-2), and includes sections of the following courses: Ancient Greece, The Hellenistic Age, a cross-disciplinary course in the Core for first-year students, and additional courses by mutual agreement. Experience in teaching upper-division languages is preferred, and proven excellence in teaching undergraduates is essential. Applications will be reviewed beginning April 1, 2013.
