SKIDMORE COLLEGE – SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY
The Classics Department at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York, invites applications for a full-time, one-year sabbatical replacement in Latin language and literature for the 2004-05 academic year. Candidate should be able to teach courses in Greek and Latin language and literature at all levels, as well as courses in classical civilization and classical literature in translation in Skidmore's interdisciplinary Classics Department.

Candidates should demonstrate teaching excellence and versatility and be firmly committed to undergraduate education with a commitment to student learning within a liberal arts environment. Ph.D. preferred, or ABD in an appropriate discipline will be considered.
