SKIDMORE COLLEGE – SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY
The Classics Department at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, invites applications for a one-year position in ancient Greek history, effective fall 2007, at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor.

Candidates must be able to teach an introductory course in ancient Greek history as well as ancient Greek and Latin language courses at all levels; the teaching load is 3/3. In addition, candidates must have both a firm commitment to undergraduate education and an active scholarly agenda.

Ph.D. preferred by time of appointment, but A.B.D. candidates will be considered. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
