Tenure-track assistant professor in classics, effective August 16, 2006. Ph.D. in classics or equivalent Greek and Latin degree. If all requirements for the Ph.D. are not complete by date of hire, a one-year term appointment at rank of instructor will be offered. The successful candidate will teach a large general education course in classical mythology, but must also be able to teach Latin and Greek at all undergraduate levels and to offer other general education and Classics courses in translation.
