ST. JOHN'S COLLEGE - SANTA FE, NM
St. John's College in Santa Fe is seeking applicants for faculty positions that may become available for the coming semester. St. John's offers Bachelor's and Master's programs in the liberal arts and sciences based on the reading and discussion of great books. The program of study is the same on both campuses of the college, Annapolis and Santa Fe. All who teach at the college are called ëtutors' because they are expected to teach broadly throughout an all-prescribed curriculum during their careers (including classical Greek, French, music, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, philosophy, literature, and political philosophy). There are no departments nor is there any system of faculty rank. Because faculty openings are largely a function of enrollment, we often cannot know what our staffing needs will be early in the year. Starting salary: approximately $40,000. Interested applicants are advised to request an application packet from the Faculty Appointment Committee, Dean's Office, St. John's College, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505, or via e-mail at: facap@mail.sjcsf.edu
