ST. NORBERT COLLEGE – DE PERE, WI

St. Norbert College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in the division of Humanities and Fine Arts beginning August 2013. Terminal degree in field of specialization is required. Seeking a candidate with broad interdisciplinary interests who is committed to excellence in teaching and research. The candidate will teach courses both in the undergraduate curriculum and in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MLS) program. Specifically, the candidate will be expected to teach the Introduction to Liberal Studies course in the MLS program on a regular basis. Preference will be given to candidates who are prepared to teach in the classical studies and/or women and gender studies programs. Course load of three classes per semester. In addition to teaching, responsibilities of this position include a program of scholarship, student advising, service on college committees, and other typical collegial duties.
