The Department of Classics at St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) announces a definite one-year, full-time sabbatical-leave replacement position at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2000. The person hired will be responsible for teaching elementary, intermediate, and advanced courses in both Greek and Latin as well as courses in classics in translation. Requirements for the job include a completed Ph.D., proven excellence in the teaching of Greek and Latin, and a commitment to scholarly activity.
