The Classics Program in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures seeks an Assistant Professor of Classics (entry-level position, tenure track). PhD in Classics is required. We are seeking someone to supervise and develop our existing undergraduate Latin program; also to teach undergraduate Classical Civilization courses, and graduate courses in the MA program. Specialization in Late Republican or Augustan poetry preferred. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to scholarly research are required.
