The Department of History at Texas Tech University is seeking to make a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor, specializing in Greek and Roman history, to begin in Fall 2000. Candidates will be expected to have completed a doctorate in History or an equivalent course of study by September 2000. They should be able to teach Western Civilization, advanced undergraduate courses in Greek and Roman history, and graduate history courses pertaining to their research specialties.
