The Classics Department at Trinity College invites applications for a three-year, full-time position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning in August 2004. We seek a specialist in classical art and archaeology who has the ability to teach courses in language, literature, and other aspects of classical civilization. This person will also be expected to contribute to the Department's senior seminar, undergraduate advising, and extracurricular programs. Completion of the Ph.D. by the time of appointment and independent teaching experience are strongly preferred. For full consideration, applications should be received by December 10, 2003. Selected applicants will be interviewed at the APA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA, January 2-5, 2004.
