TRUMAN STATE – KIRKSVILLE, MO
CLASSICS: Truman State University, Missouri's highly selective liberal arts and sciences institution, announces a temporary generalist position in Classics beginning August 20, 2007: Temporary Instructor in or Temporary Assistant Professor of Classics (one-year position, renewable).

Teaching Responsibilities: Teaching 12 credit hours (four courses) per semester in Classics, including Latin and Greek and Classics courses in translation.

Required Qualifications for Instructor Rank: Master's degree in Classics; evidence of teaching effectiveness at college level; evidence of excellent communication skills.

Required Qualifications for Assistant Professor Rank: Doctorate in Classics in hand before start of Fall 2007 semester; evidence of teaching effectiveness at college level; evidence of excellent communication skills.
