The Department of Classics at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Roman History at junior or senior level, beginning in August, 2003. Candidates should be able to teach Roman History at the undergraduate and graduate-seminar levels, as well as Latin at all levels. A record of solid teaching is essential. Desirable would be someone who can play into Tufts' strengths, such as international relations and computational humanities, and can take a leadership role in the department and beyond.
